Ted is the originator of Wild Country and is the band's fearless leader. Born on the eastern seaboard, the love of country music lured him west. A lifelong musician, Ted has played with numerous groups and artists such as Hank Thompson and many others. An impressive oddity, he can play anything with strings, but is most accomplished on the double-neck pedal steel and five string banjo. Sings lead and background vocals.
Ted Hockenbury

Affectionately referred to as the "Human Jukebox", he seems to know every country song ever. Sings lead and harmony, plays fiddle and lead guitar, and can impersonate ANYONE!
